In the case of car repairs, the procedure is to include the repair items + 1 item of the deductible cost, and at the same time deliver a credit note with the deductible value.
Example:
- Repair value = €1000
- Deductible = R$200
The invoice includes:
Item 1 = R$1000
Item 2 = R$200
Total payable = €1200
The Credit Note includes:
Item 1 = R$200
Total to be credited = R$200
The insurance company will only have to pay R$1,000.
Then the remaining amount of the franchise, R$200, is invoiced directly to the Customer.
